Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

We would like to thank you for your interest in Lazarus Fish and the Myanmar Agape Christian Mission (MACM). We would also like to thank those of you who already support Lazarus for your continued generosity. Despite Myanmar (Burma) having one of the most oppressive governments in the world, God is doing amazing things through MACM since Lazarus and his family left the United States over three years ago. Some of the highlights of this ministry include:

		Creation of the first graduate-level seminary in Myanmar for the Christian Churches & Churches of Christ where over 100 students attend. The first class at Yangon Christian College  & Seminary (YCCS) will graduate in February, 2006.
		The planting of 12 churches including one church in the capital city of Yangon, which is primarily Buddhist, as well as two churches in China near the border of Myanmar. In addition, a Chinese Border Training center has been established.
		Over 17 preaching and music programs have been conducted. Some of these events have had over 10,000 in attendance including one event held in China. The Christmas programs conducted over the past two years have also drawn over 5000 Buddhists to each event.

God is doing amazing things through MACM and the ministry has greatly expanded since its inception. What many do not understand, that including Lazarus there are 25 employees who now work for MACM, allowing God to use them in such magnificent ways. In order to continue expanding, the current budget of $8000/month needs to be increased to $10,500/month. Many of our employees are either working part-time or for reduced wages in order to participate in this ministry. 		Yangon Christian College & Seminary - is strategic for educating future leaders in Myanmar as well as providing an outreach to the 80% of the population who is Buddhist.
		Church Planting & Missions - is integral for evangelizing the city of Yangon as well as outreach into rural areas in Northern Myanmar and China.
		Literature & Media Ministries - is essential for reaching large numbers of people with important messages. Music is a universal language and MACM's music ministry greatly supports the rest of its functions drawing great numbers to Christ.

We are currently sending budget requests to our current financial supporters. Thank you very much for what you are doing.
